It’s a funny thing. Packing for 3 nights in Las Vegas has proven to be almost more challenging than packing for 4 weeks in Italy – and I’m using the exact same piece of carry-on luggage. Go figure.
The complications, for me, come from not really knowing what to expect. The weather looks mixed, maybe some rain and relatively cool and our agenda is pretty open. This means I’ll be leaning to overpacking since I’ll want to be prepared for whatever might come our way.
So, here’s what I’ve packed:
● A pair of jeans
● A really cool shirt
● A long sleeved t shirt
● A cashmere sweater
● My vintage U2 Achtung Baby baseball jersey
● 2 pairs of leggings – one to laze in, one to exercise in
● 3 tank tops – for sleeping and working out
● A bathing suit for my afternoon at the spa
● A sexy jumpsuit for our dinner out
● My pinkish-beige leather moto jacket
● An evening bag
● Chuck Taylors
● Black booties
● Plastic Birkies
● Undergarments and socks
For travel, I’ll be wearing my brick red vegan leather pants, which are wicked comfortable, a black long sleeved t-shirt and an oversized black sweater and my Dansko clogs. I imagine I’ll add a scarf in case the plane is cold and I’m leaning towards cramming my lightweight, hooded down Uniqlo down coat into its pouch and placing it in my “personal item” backpack just in case the rain forecast is accurate. Or, maybe not. Let’s see how I’m feeling at 4:00 a.m. tomorrow.

I think and hope it’s only temporary! It’s the only theater I ever go to and I love that I can walk there.
