When one considers that he’s only been in office for 14 months, the impact made upon the global community by the Idiot in Chief and his merry band of incompetents, is really quite remarkable. Personally, I never could have imagined the amount of damage he and his MAGA cult could wreak around the country and the world at large in such a brief timeframe.
The level of destabilization is genuinely impressive.
During the last presidential election, those of us who clearly saw DJT for exactly who he is, were told that our government had checks and balances in place to prevent actions such as the ones we feared. There was no way that Project 2025 was real, much less likely to actually be put in place. The courts would surely put a stop to any attempts to circumvent the laws of the country and Americans would be protected from the actions of this orange toddler and his petty, personal vendettas.
Unfortunately, this has not been the case.
Although it is difficult to itemize the individual actions and situations in which citizens of the world have been placed, I’ll attempt to provide a highlight reel.
- The assembling of a cabinet of miscreants and the unqualified
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The debacle of DOGE
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The aggressive enforcement of border policies prompting violence against citizens and immigrants
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The attempts to humiliate leaders of other countries
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The threats to take over other nations such as Canada, Greenland, Venezuela and Cuba
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The utter destruction of the White House in a misguided, unapproved ballroom construction project
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- Government shutdowns
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- Policies that are destructive to national parks and woodlands
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The consolidation of media and silencing of independent journalism
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The wasteful spending of taxpayers’ money on vanity projects such as a ridiculous military parade and the renaming of national historic sites and cultural centers.

- The attacks on fishing vessels that have caused dozens of deaths without any evidence of inappropriate or illegal activities

- The alienation of the United States from its former staunch allies
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The grifting and deal making that resulted in the Trump family enriching themselves at the expense of U.S. citizens
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The attacks on the LGBTQ community
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
- The bombing of an Iranian girls school resulting in the deaths of more than 170 girls
- The continued suppression of the Epstein Files
If Trump 1.0 was a whack-a-mole game when it came to keeping up with the figurative fires he ignited, Trump 2.0 is akin to attempting to extinguish a forest fire with the spit of a dehydrated child.
I don’t know how this country will survive another nearly three years of this type of leadership, nor can I imagine how long it will take for the U.S. to regain its standing in the eyes of the world.
This needs to stop.
