It’s been nine years since Adam Lanza massacred the educators and students named below. While he may have officially acted alone, don’t kid yourself that he was the only one involved. Every single member of the NRA who refuses to accept common sense gun laws also has blood on their hands and bears responsibility for the loss of these lives, along with the hundreds of additional lives extinguished since December 14, 2012.
On this day I remember those who died, send consolation and strength to their loved ones and direct my rage towards every person who believes their right to bear arms trumps a parent’s right to expect their child(ren) to return home from school on a yellow bus rather than in a coffin.
