So, friends, we’re down to the last 12 weeks of 2021. It’s been a year, hasn’t it? I’m not much for resolutions at the beginning of the year, but I do feel compelled to reflect on a year as it draws to an end. There have been some wonderful memories made this year, but I’m most definitely not done yet.
While I still have time left before we turn the page on another year, I’ve been considering some remaining goals, plans and aspirations for 2021. Here’s what I’ve come up with…
Finish painting my kitchen and find someone to paint my hallway.
Peking duck for Thanksgiving dinner in Montreal with my three sons.
Get to NYC for a night or two.
Practice my pasta making skills.
Continue working on my house to create a guest room/yoga space.
Convince everyone in the universe to watch Ted Lasso.
Attend an in person fundraiser or party in a pretty dress.
Run in the 25th annual Last Run with my Luna bitches.
Book my summer 2022 trip to Greece.
Gaze at the stars in the desert, preferably in Joshua Tree National Park in December.
Keep trying to be my best and most authentic self.
Work to hold on to my optimism that there’s someone special out there looking for me.

Have you seen it, Dave? It’s on AppleTV, which is yet another streaming service, but it is so poignant and funny and quick witted, that I think everyone would benefit from falling under its charms.
